A sublime Corn Maiden pendant necklace is handmade by Jovanna Poblano, a gifted carver and jeweler from the greater Teddy Weahkee (d) family of Zuni Pueblo artists.
Taking center place on this incredible necklace is an iridescent abalone corn maiden, with etched Corn kernels and inlaid turquoise cabochons. Her peaceful facial features are incised and inlaid with jet, while incised Dragonfly companions fly about. Including the silver bale fixture, she measures about 3" long by 2" wide resting on a soft metallic grey leather backing, surrounded by a halo of tiny beads. Equally impressive are the chatoyant kyanite and black lip shell beads pronouncing the glory of this corn maiden on the approximate 18" long double strand necklace. Many gorgeous faceted labradorite beads are also present. Extra shipping charges may apply.
