A great puma (Mountain-lion, cougar or panther) has been carved by Rosella and Loubert Soseeah from fossilized coral known as Petoskey stone. Petoskey stone was laid down during the Devonian period about 420 to 360 million years ago around Petoskey, Michigan. This great cat peers through eyes of inlaid turquoise and a long tail provides balance as it hunts. About 3 1/2" long, 1/2" wide and 1" tall. Rosella and Loubert attached an abalone point, honoring the lessons we can learn from this greatest of all hunters.
