Horses and Indigenous cultures go way back. Oral histories teach that horses native to North America never went extinct, as many people believed. They survived the Ice Age right down to our day continuing to be an important part of Indigenous culture and identity. Terry Wilson's powerful pony is an elegant equine at approximately 1 3/4" long, 1/2" wide and 1 3/8" tall, carved from a gorgeous two-toned Picasso marble. A beautifully swishing tail and stomping foot keep the flies at bay. Friendly eyes are from turquoise and a flowing mane has been lovingly brushed.
